Well, that was certainly an opinion and you have every right to it. Not even really sure how to respond or if there is even any point in doing so. I use my Pentax Q7 for a completely different style of photography then what I do with my FF and Medium Format camera. It's not a style that many necessarily appreciate but it is one that many of the models do like very much. Sometimes they even prefer these shots over the images from the bigger cameras. Three of the models went on eBay and purchased Q cameras afterwards based off the experience and images. For me the whole point of the Q system is to have a fun camera where I don't really think too much about the poses, backgrounds, lighting, or anything too technical. It's supposed to capture candid/fun moments similar to a polaroid camera from the film days. The Pentax Q lets the models loosen up and play a little more. It's not everyone's cup of tea but I have had private messages from quite a few photographers asking me to publish my Q images in a book which I have plans to do someday. Also when I do prints the models usually ask for images from the Q over my other more professional cameras. I do agree with you that from a technical point of view my Q7 images don't really compare to my other work but that's kind of the whole point. The Q7 is a palette cleanser for me. A chance for the model to play and for me to tag along or go with the flow. I do think that many of the models relish the opportunity for more light hearted images that they can attach a feeling or fun memory to.
In response to your criticisms of what the subjects are wearing or not wearing. Well all I can say is that I always let the models choose the outfits. I sometimes provide clothing but in the end it is up to the model what they want to wear. I find that the whole process tends to go smoother that way as I like to view most of my shoots as collaborations. If the girl isn't comfortable or doesn't like the clothes it tends to show in the images and we both don't want that.
At this point in my photographic journey I am not really interested in unsolicited criticisms unless it is from someone whom I trust and respect otherwise to me it just comes across as trollish behavior. Oh and BTW I have no image named #6858 and have no clue what truck you are referring to :lol:

Morgan wanted to do a fun Halloween shoot. Recently found a mint 05 lens on eBay. It's a great lens and I am happy to have completed my collection. That being said the 01 is still my favorite and will be my go to for most of my portrait work on the Q7but the 05 is great for multiple subjects and more environmental portraits.

You're very welcome! I just used the Q7 with the Godox Senior Lux yesterday on a night shoot with Alexis. I also had a star filter and 10% black pearl mist filter on the 01 lens. Was going for a more filmic/retro poparazzi look. She was blown away by the images BTW. She loves the Pentax Q :)

First of all it is quite affordable at under $130, it looks super cool in a retro sort of way, it seems to be compatible with pretty much any camera, and I like that it charges through USB-C.

I've been playing around with my new all black Q7 and for some reason it just feels more premium than my silver one. Maybe it uses different plastics. Either way I like it :)

Just received my Godox Lux Senior flash and will be using it with the Q7 from time to get that old-school paparazzi style look. I also went on eBay and ordered another Q7 in black to go along with my silver body. I figured I might as well grab another one while they are still readily available/affordable. Really wanted to get an Olympus Pen F but the used prices are way too high and even though I think it's a gorgeous camera I doubt I would get noticeably better image quality out of it when compared to the Q7 at least for my purposes anyway.
