I finally found a somewhat reasonably priced Pentax Q 08 lens in good condition. So I now own all the lenses I care to own for the Q system.

I preordered the Nikon ZF about a week ago. I wonder if I'll get one from the first batch. Also ordered the Nikon 58 1.4 G lens off of eBay. Probably gonna pick up the FTZ adapter soon as well.

The GF 55 1.7 for my 50s II just arrived today and I got to shoot with it a little bit with Lucy at a local sports park. Really great lens! First GFX lens that I've paid full price for so far but I have to say that I think it's a keeper.

I have been loving my GFX 50s ii. Just snagged the GF 80mm 1.7 for $1100 and a clearance Canon Pixma Pro 200 for $220. I have been enjoying printing some 13x19 prints. The 80mm should be arriving today. So glad that I am able to get FF prices for medium format gear. Otherwise I probably would have stuck with my Lumix kit. The GF lenses are truly phenomenal. Also have a snazzy new Havana Black Leather camera bag coming from RocknRoll Camera Straps.

I just won a Fujifilm GFX 50s II for $2350 on eBay. I also went ahead and snagged the 110 f2 for $1400 since I've always wanted that lens. I plan to start shooting more often with vintage/classic cars so I might grab the 45 f2.8 as well since they can sometimes be had for under $1000. Hopefully can start sharing some portraits soon. I wasn't going to take the MF dive anytime soon but those prices were just too tempting to pass up. I have been more than happy with my Lumix FF cameras and that will remain my primary system but wanted a secondary system for special shoots where I can take my time more. I also received the Light Lens Lab 50mm F2 Speed Panchro II in black. I've been messing around with it on the Sigma fp and I quite like it.

Now I have an excuse to pick up some vintage glass like the Pentax 105mm f2.4 along with an adaptor.

Recently picky up a Godox V1 flash for my Fuji system. Also snagged a used Sigma FP, the Sigma 85mm f1.4 DN DG Art lens, and the new Sigma 65mm f2. Really been loving my FP.

I've been meaning to post in this thread for some time now. My job recently gave me the Sony A7III along with the 35mm 1.4 which both ended up surprising me. I picked up the Sony 85mm 1.8 to replace my beloved FA 85 on the Pentax. Snagged a Fujifilm X-T3 with the grip and the 18-55 kit lens over the Black Friday weekend. Just received the Fujifilm 56mm 1.2 today. Also got the Zhiyun Weebil stabilizer for more video work. Had a special accommodation from my other job to get $100 off the GoPro Hero 7 Black as well (mostly for quick BTS videos).

Lots of new gear and lenses to learn! So little time!

Thank you. I will give it a try and report back.

---------- Post added 06-13-16 at 03:23 PM ----------

That seems to have done the trick! I wiped it down initially but without alcohol and I guess I wasn't as thorough as was needed. Went out in the backyard to check AF accuracy at different apertures and it seems really good even wide open. Possibly better than my 77 which sometimes gives me issues.

Thanks again Albert!

So I went to the post office today to pick up my FA 85 f1.4 that was shipped from Hong Kong by a supposedly reputable dealer. This would be the second time I've attempted to procure this lens from eBay. The first one had no working AF at all but at least I was able to return that lens but it was still a major hassle/disappointment. This second lens came in even better condition so I had high hopes but alas...

I don't know if it has faulty electrical connections but it seems to have problems connecting to the camera. The lens works intermittently when attached to the camera. Meaning the f stop disappears on the LCD screen and AF stops working. Sometimes if I jiggle the lens it will come back. I've tried it on 2 different bodies (K-3 and K-01) with same results. Also when I switch to manual focus it doesn't let me focus manually. When the AF does work it seems a bit sluggish almost like it is slightly grinding. I know it is an older lens from the 90's but I was wondering if it is worth trying to repair. I guess most of the good copies of this lens have been spoken for already. I hate the idea of going through the whole return process all over again but that's probably what I am going to have to do.

Any recommendations?

Ebay is telling me that this is the policy but not to get them involved till there's an issue so I'm just waiting for the seller to receive the lens back.

The name of the seller is sanpoucamera. At least he accepted my return request but it looks like I may get stuck with the return shipping costs. Will try and ship it back on Tuesday morning. It truly is too bad because I took a few shots at 1.4 using manual focus and the bokeh was just gorgeous. The in focus area was also quite sharp. Oh well.

Just picked up the FA 85 from the Post Office and the AF doesn't work despite the eBay listing stating that it had no mechanical issues. I've already put in a return request with eBay. Oh well, at least I have my 77. :(

Will hopefully be picking up the FA 85 1.4 from the post office tomorrow morning. Ordered it off of eBay a little over a week ago and it just arrived from Japan. Will be interesting to see how it compares to the FA 77. Really want to try it on the K-1.
