It's like a flashback to the 80s. :D I totally forgot how little control we had over the images after pressing the shutter. However, I rediscovered the nifty fifty and it's versatility. It's good for almost anything. It was so much fun! :)
I used 400 b/w, 200 colour and a 1600 b/w.

I expect mine to arrive back by the end of the week. For some reason b/w takes longer than color film (I don't develop myself). monochrome needs some time (see his post).

So the K1000 is on its way to gorme and four rolls of film are sent to develop. It's such a nice camera and I'm sad that it's gone now. That shutter is massive! : :D Focussing is not easy. I forgot how slow it is when shooting with film. Missed some shots because I didn't fwd to the next frame :/ Also blew some shots because I forgot to set ISO from 1600 to 200 for a new film. Meh. :lol:

Afaik I'm next on the list and it should arrive soon, coming from monochrome.
There should be some actual photos of the K1000 in this thread. I want to try some dark style product shots of it if I'll find some time for that.:cool:

There are still some b/w rolls in my cupboard. Expired 2008 and 2010. That could be interesting :D
Honestly I was more excited by the original idea where it would travel to whoever signs up next. As an early participant at number 5 or so, I am now down to 11. :( I think it would also be more attractive for those to come. What do you think?

Sounds reasonable. However, as Mark said, Australians could be pushed down a lot if more US and EU people join the list.
How about doing pairs in each region? By that the costs could be reduced a bit while still keeping roughly the original order. (The second US goes after the first US, the second EU goes after the first US, the second AU goes after the first AU. Whoever signed up first. I hope I'm not embarrassing myself with some obvious logical error here... ) Also, the chaos of traveling wildly across the globe has it's charm – me thinking.
