This month was busy, coming back after six months away from home left less time for shooting, posting, and commenting than I'd hoped. Additionally, I am switching over to a new PC, and downloading or transferring photos and accounts, it has been slow going, especially because I had many higher priority activities occurring as well.
That said, the 18-135 WR is the lens I spent over 6 months with and it is a very versatile "walk-around" lens. There were few occasions I fell I needed some other lens, and any shortcomings in the quality of the resulting photos are due to my own failings, not the lens. Relatively compact, and lightweight, I can't recommend it highly enough.

After using a variety of zooms in May, I am eager to get back to a prime.

Spring is the beginning of cruise-ins and car shows, so I did get some shots today.

The last few days did allow me time and subjects for photgraphy. hopefully I will now have time to download and post, as well as catch up on comments.

Rather than buy a new lens, I bought a Manfrotto BeFree tripod, ballhead included. It has a quick release plate, which is a must have feature. It is light enough and compact enough for me to carry around, too.
I will keep my trusty and well used Slik for use as a light stand, etc. we have had some great adventures together

This past week was very busy, Too busy to use the SIC lens of the month. 6 days without it, I doubt I will catch up.

I became a bit confuse fro themes between single In and Daily In, but I do enjoy having the themes for several reasons.
Today I will be out and about, there is nothing like a day off in the middle of the week to cheer me up. It's move-out day this afternoon at my son's uni, and between home and the campus there are several locations I want to stop at for picture taking, who knows what I will see? being out and about on workdays often allows for great people watching opportunities, too.

Made it back home last night after 6 months away, everything is so green here, everything planted last fall is coming up and blooming!
Do I use the 40 mm XS or something else? maybe my bargain bin takumar 135 to get all these flowers? I will decide by the end of the day.
