I guess that's for when grandma sets up the camera to take a family snapshot and need that full hour to get in position between her children and grand children.

The Red Baron - Manfred von Richthofen - was killed in action in 1918. The swastika (on the camera top) was 'introduced' by the nazis in the 1930's. Are you sure you haven't been scammed?

Huh! At first glance I thought it was a Pentax LX Titanium with a Limited lens on it. It looks quite similar, both body and lens.

Agree. That's one disadvantage of putting a flash on the camera. That extra weight 'off' the grip side of the camera makes it heavier to hold with one hand.

The model name indicates that they were aiming at making a digital twin lens camera, but digital photography wasn't invented yet, and they didn't know were to put the second lens, so they ended up with this. They kept the name, though.

Wow! Didn't expect to be correct on this one. Wasn't one benefit with powerzoom that the lens retracted to it's shortest 'length' at power off? But OK, since no other manufacturers didn't follow up with similar patents, I guess it didn't catch on, so a bit gimmicky it was. :)

Hmmm ... short lived ... then it can't be a winder or a motor, has it got something to do with power zoom on FA lenses? But gimmicky ... ?

The back lid looks a bit different from what I presume is standard ME Super. I have an ME Super and a MEII Winder myself tucked away somewhere. Both are defect. :(

It depends on what is biggest, the lens or the camera. It's like in the old days, when some flashes were so big, you mounted the camera on the flash, not the other way around.

Yup. It was part of the fashion in the nineties, like jeans with premade holes in them.

That hood there looks interesting. I have a 35-105 myself, but lack the hood. Originally it should be a rubber hood, but yours is metal? Are you happy with it?

It's a nice workaround if you don't have a shutter release cable. I used it many times before I finally got one.
