Correct, as long as landowner says they are a cause of predation (Cougars, coyotes, bobcats, fox). License only required in Texas if hunting "Varmints" (Texas slang) for purpose of selling furs. (Trappers license). I prefer the shutter to a trigger, but am able to call in all of the above with just my mouth.

Canines always leave nail tracks. Felines control nails and keep them retracted when walking.

The first is a shot from my F*300. (I added 4 other shots in the sports gallery.) It is wonderful for sports day games!! The next three deer shots are with the DA*300. Wonderful for wildlife!

Happy new year to all!!🎉🎉🎉 I'm fairly new to the long lens crew. I know that the new telelconverter has a good rep on the DA*300...Does the HD TC perform well with the old F* 300?

IQ and Sharpness would be the top interest in their comparison. I have opened my F* 300 now. Wow is it small! This copy is mint! One small 2mm chip in the paint. Looks like it sit in a closet for years!

I just got a package containing the F* 300mm that was in excellent+ condition. Great price too $870! My wife, God bless her, is telling me i need to wait til Christmas (tomorrow) to open it in front of the kids. *sigh* If the tests go well I will be selling my E++ DA* 300. Can't Wait!
