It has been awhile since I have posted anything but had to share this one. It came as a shock when it turned out, not because of the lens but because of my skill level. I must admit to being very pleased with it. No cropping either just downsized for posting here.

And, just to see if you are paying attention, a Forster's Tern. Just missed the shot but those guys are so darn fast. |

These were taken with the K-5 and the DA*300mm. There is an Ibis rookery near a campground we go to. It is a sight to see, not only the Ibis but the other wildlife to be found in the center of this small town.
And watching them fly in at night is really fascinating. |

It may be the same fish. It is a type of catfish that is non-native. Wish I could remember the name - armored catfish maybe?
