Hi Richard, it is all quiet simple. I do photograph any time of the day but preferbly early in the morning or late in the afternoon as many of us do. Most of my pictures are taken with the HD Pentax-DA 645 28-45mm F4.5 ED AW SR and always on F11 because I find that the best number for the combination of overall sharpness and DOF for this lens. For me an ideal walk around lens also because it is wide enough for me compared with for examle the 32-64 from Fuji. A reason for me to stay with Pentax. They have the same sensor anyway. It is a bit heavy though, I often carry the camera lens combination like a baby in my left arm to protect my neck because I need to walk a lot to find my locations. This lens has shake reduction so even 1/15 it will still be oké out of hand. My second most used lens is the Pentax 67 50-110. Wonderfull sharp lens with very special colors, I think. This lens I shoot at F 16 or even F 22 mostly on a monopod. I don't really like to walk around with a tripod. Third lens I use a lot is the Mamiya shift 50/3.5 in Hasselblad mount, also at F16. A bit soft, but it renders wonderfully, just needs some extra contrast ( and sharpening) compared to the other lenses. Most other lenses always on F11. At night on a tripod of course. Always try to keep the verticals straight and paralell with the sides of the picture. Mostly I try to avoid "en face' compositions because of the lack of dynamics in the perspective.
Quiet simple and a bit boring all together.

I did a small review on the P67 55-110 lens here on this forum. Not very technical, that has not my strongest interest, but mostly some samples.

Next year I will publish a new book on Spain. Need to go there again but it was difficult till now due to th Corona virus.
It will have text and poems in it of my late father who was a writer and who wrote extensivly about Spain in the fiftys.

I make my books in Indesign and send them as PDF to the printer, but I will look into it. Looks quiet complicated to me at first sight....

FYI I did publisch a book about this area in 2016. It is called Opale et Albâtre after the names ofthese coastlines. Texts are in French, English and Dutch.

Nice series Ed! As a reportage I prefer the ones with a general overview (like the two blue ones) Star trails don't fit so much in this series. I would like to see them in daylight as well, all that beautiful sunset light can be a bit distracting from the subject which is interesting enough by itself. Nice item for a small book!?
Hope you don't mind my critics on this nice series. :-)
