Yes, this is great birding (bears, ...) thread, but if you get some clear skies I'm sure everybody would be happy to see your astro images here (much more interesting than my campfire photo).

SMC Takumar 300/4 at f 11.
I feel this Club needs some non-animal images from time to time (I posted this one before in the Takumar Club).

Some snaps from the backyard and zoo - for me this lens after intensive PP work gives better results compared to cheap and old 400 mm options. All images below were treated with Topaz Detail, some were developed with DXO Optics Pro which has very good correction profile for it.

This lens on the Pentax Q is an equivalent of 1100 mm lens on APS-C. Shot wide open, 6 images stacked in Registax (crossposted). The photo was made in the middle of the city, so better results are possible.
