The neighbourhood around where you live (I’m presuming that’s where you walk about, taking these photos) is very picturesque…😊👍

Very nice. The DA*200 is a terrific lens. I love the pictures it makes.

Pictures like these remind and reaffirm why we pursue that beautiful thing called telephoto photography. :)

Beautiful. And I'm guessing part of of it is due to the 55's rendering.

Really love your valley shot!
Such dramatic composition, and beautiful tones in the picture.
And the flare circles make it really special. Great work! ---------- Post added 02-08-15 at 07:43 PM ----------
Very nice shot! Almost colourless, yet with a hint of blue. Great subject too.

Hi, trying to learn more here - I was under the impression that purple fringing is a different phenomenon than chromatic aberration...?

Thank you for the info, John. Yes, looking at the shot I somehow get the impression that it was a breezy moment. Nice effects you've added - I like the vignetting. Happy shooting.

Hi. Referring to the first shot, I like the composition and also the post-processing. Was it HDR?

I prefer the f2.8 version. The effect is gentler, "warmer" - a bit more magic to it. Besides, at f5.6 I think too much of the image is in focus.
I see this picture as a good example of when absolute sharpness is not the key point - in fact it could even be detrimental to the result.
