My good God, I love that colour of blue above!!! What 1.4 is that? Did you PP it? What camera settings? I always leave mine on natural... for landscapes.

I have 3/4, first 3 of your selection.

I sold the M28/3.5 (great lens), sold a Vivitar 28mm f2.8 Close Focus M42 and got a K mount f2.0 version (both Komine made, the best ones). The Vivitars are basically the same but the K 2.0 version has even more outstanding bokeh, these are best at close-ups, it is a 'flower lens' with beautiful bokeh and gorgeous super- saturated colour. Also recently used it for a sunrise, quite good but not on par with a HD DA15 f4 for flare resistance or contrast and micro-contrast! Not a fair comparison anyhow, the HD coating is superior for starters.

The K28 3.5 has least distortion of the 28mm lenses, it is a great lens too, as is the K35 3.5 (I own that too). The K series I love you see. Got a K24 3.5 last week which is superb, you should see the view through a MX or ME Super film camera! The K24 3.5 is quite rare but close focusses to 25cm!

Despite all this, one lens I have taken some of my best landscapes with is the first 28mm I ever got, the A28 f2.8 (same optics as M28 f2.8 late version 2), I thought about selling it until looking at photographs. It is super flare resistant, which the K28 f3.5 is not as good at. There is ghosting on street lights on night-scapes but into the sun it has to be the best... Fantastic colour gradients and renders.

The M28 f2.8 version 2, later version has the same optics as the A and is the cheapest and plentiful! 😉

Something for you to think about 😃
