If the lens has a yellow cast when you look at it, that might help. Whenever I purchase an older lens that has a yellow cast, I stick it in a south-facing window for a month or so with the caps off. That usually turns it nice and blue again.
Of course, you WANT TO ABSOLULTELY ENSURE it's not focusing the sunlight on your window sill. That would be very, very bad.
