Been silently enjoying this thread, as I don't shoot much "street". However, I was recently in Spain during the Fallas festival, which provided me with many street shooting opportunities - provided your definition of street doesn't limit itself to everyday scenes... So here are a few, reposted from the "K-3 sample shots" thread. I'm afraid they also buck the dominant B&W aesthetic of this thread, but I hope that's OK.

I've been yearning to start a 100 Strangers project as I want to get into portraiture, but so far I haven't been able to overcome my own shyness. However, on a beautiful sunny and (finally) warm day this week, I crossed paths with a stranger who seemed to be enjoying the sun to such an extent that I couldn't not ask to take his picture. He agreed right away, but after I took the shot and wanted to say thanks, with his eyes closed and his headphones on, he was oblivious... So I crossed the street and got a context shot, but never got his name. Thanks stranger! (First shot was previously posted in the K-3 sample shots thread.)
