Came across this on my hard drive - taken at a funfair in Antwerp, Belgium, a few years ago. FA135/2.8, at f/3.5. This lens is a terror for purple fringes at wide apertures - but Lightroom (which I got well after this was taken) does a great job at cleaning it up. Cropped a bit, and various PP adjustments. The guy on the end, in the blue shirt, appears in various shots in the sequence. He starts off grinning and having a good time. A few shots in - his eyes are shut and he looks absolutely terrified ... I wouldn't go on one of those things ...
Hhhmmm - is there a slight magenta cast in the sky or is it my screen?

Those Rome shots are great. I get that urge again to start looking for cheap air tickets ...
I have an FA128 bought as a bargain from Keh a long time ago. It looks dreadful externally (all bashed up like a bit of old military ordinance) but works well. I should use it more.

That's very nice - it's the sort of shot where I would trust my M135 more than the 50-200, say.
