Did a product shot of a new camping chef knife I got in the mail today. What makes this one interesting is the in-camera double exposure.
Ah, I guess I also used two flashes as well with diffusers and radio triggers to get the lighting right. :)

Yeah, I'm still on the fence about aperture and diffraction, personally. I've had some shots where it doesn't work out, and others where having the DoF is critical for a composition. It's also interesting about the 31 vs the 21 ltd -- The 21 has a huge DoF compared to the 31, even when you match aperture on the 31. I've done nighttime event photography with both of those, and I could actually get away with just using the 21 ltd at it's hyperfocal distance at f/4 or f/5.6, but the 31 is a harsh mistress for me to focus.

Thats an amazing shot normhead. Is there any loss of detail at f/22 by diffraction when that image is at 100%? Also curious, natural light or flash?

Just got a Revuenon 55mm f/1.2 in the mail today, so I had to throw it on the K-01 for a couple of test shots. These are beautiful, but this lens will need some practice for me to really get the focus down, the DoF is hilariously thin! |

Made a nice picture tonight of a Burning Man memory, and then took a shot of the lens I used, for good measure. Both are retro for me, in a way. :)
The memory, shot at f/8 with my 50mm Macro-Tak f/4 M42
The tool, also shot at f/8, but with my DA21mm Limited.

Not strictly but you get a sizable increase in AF speed and accuracy. I saw a 20-50% boost there on mine with the FA 50 1.4 and my DA 40mm limited.
