8 x 3 bracketed shot HDR panorama of Jura from Keills Peninsula with the K3 and the DA 20-40 Ltd. Very milky light over the water and odd overall effect. Sort of like it though. |

I create separate HDR images from RAW, using identical settings, in Photmatix. I usually run the individual raw files through DxO Optics first. I then stitch them into a pano in CS6. Then I might do selective PP in CS6, topaz labs etc. This proces goes well provided the bracketed shots have even EV compensation for each area shot. I do find that I loose EV lock after 2 or 3 5x bracketed shots and sometimes this makes is difficult to get an even HDR result between adjacent shots.

Thanks. I use Photmatix Pro 5.0 and switch between the various options within it depending on the subject matter.

My first ever panorama. K3, HD DA20-40mm also posted on the K3 post you images thread. A gloomy evening view of Loch Awe. 11 Photomatix HDR images from 5 shot auto bracketing and photomerged in PS CS6
Looking forward to trying more of this in less gloomy conditions. So far loving the lens. |
