That top one one is a great shot. You should frame that one and hang it in his room.

Great second shot. Photos like that are easy to come by living in Pennsylvania :) I know , I was just there!

That last shot is really cool. The Da21 is really a sharp lens. I've got mine at CRIS right now for calibration. I can't wait to get it back!

I'll post pictures later after vacation and let you decide if I got a good copy or not. I regard your opinions highly on this forum.

Well my copy was way too soft at 3.2 After applying a +10 to the camera it looks much better. It always looked good at 5.6 and above.

Crap. Well I'm going to use it for a few months and if I don't see what I like I'll sell it and trade it in for the FA 31. I am looking forward to creating some of those nice looking starbursts. So far I like what I see regarding starbursts.

I don't think my DA 21 is as sharp as yours at 3.2 I'll have test it though. It's been rainy and cloudy here lately.
I did notice however that my DA 21's focus ring NEVER hits the infinity mark when focusing out long distances. It always stops a bit short. But it is in focus however even stopped short. If I manually adjust the focus ring to infinity then the picture is not quite in focus. Strange.......

My first shots with the DA 21 6.7 seems to be the sweet spot for this lens. |
