Todd, the method I described here to identify vignetting by a lens hood or the like might be helpful to see where exactly you have to work on the ring.

Assuming that you somehow look like the rest of us, this can hardly be your shadow. :)
If you are standing upright, the "axis" of the shadow (in need of a better expression) should lead to the image centre, which it does not do here -- unless of course this is a crop.

And even more interesting (for tech geeks at least), you took this with the Sony Alpha 7R? How is the corner performance with the 20mm lens? Could you post a 100% crop?
