YMMV, but I think you'll be very happy with a K-3. I shot about 250 pictures that day and for about 240 the focus was spot on - way better than I expected from my experience with this lens on the K-5, especially since they were shot under difficult (focus) lighting conditions (they were not shot in a studio, but on location in a beauty salon).

Until very recently I considered selling my DA*50-135mm because it just didn't deliver the goods for me on my K-5. With my newly acquired K-3 I decided to give it another chance and used it for a photo shooting. Here's a 100% crop from a pic shot at f/5.6 (straight OOC, no sharpening): Attachment 250642
And here's a 100% crop from a picture shot wide open at f/2.8 (again, straight OOC, no sharpening): Attachment 250643
The lens really shines on my K-3. Autofocus is spot on. I think we have a keeper :cool:
