Getting different lens to try. Some type of addiction for them....
Stll in rookie phase but have started trying the AV mode
Also learning new birds - and bugs. Got lucky on the shot - it is in my backyard and just happened to see him, grabbed the camera and got in a couple of shots before he flew away.

Not the greatest picture but have never seen a red headed wood pecker get a drink, I was about 45yds away.

Never noticed this pattern before - getting a good camera leads you to new perspective's
