I really like these images. They make me feel that I am there, looking through the viewfinder at the street scene. Almost like I'm 'jumping' into the scene through the camera.

Thanks for giving us a glimpse into everyday life there. Excellent use for the DA 21.

Brilliant scene.
Aaahhh... that's what I'm waiting for up here in Canada. In Ottawa, our first winter snow usually arrives around early to mid-November. So far this year - temps way above average, no snow, but rain and dull, drab scenery. The long range forecast calls for a green Christmas and maybe 6-8 degrees C on Christmas day. Go figure. On the other hand, it makes up for our very cold winter of last year.
I'd itching to get out with my camera in a scene like yours.

The DA 35mm Limited Macro is suited to many themes or subjects such as landscape, cityscape, people, and architectural details. One of my favorite uses is close-up shots of small things I find in the woods or forests. Although its short focal length is not ideal for macro shots of bugs, this lens excels in taking sharp, close, detailed shots of stationary things.

Amusing street scene! I would guess they are not overly worried about 24 Mpixels, SR, or focal length...

Maket,
Welcome to Pentax Forums!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful image - it really captures the feeling of this time of year in many parts of the northern hemisphere.

Okay, that one tips me over the edge -- I am packing up and moving to Colorado!
Just kidding, of course, MattB. I enjoy your images. Thanks.

Excellent shot! Well timed, great focal point and context, along with a bit of mystery. I think you nailed the exposure. Shows the capability of the K-01 and DA 21.

The valley and mountains give great perspective and depth. Can I move to the West Coast? haha.

Yiptwo,
I keep coming back to these two images. Wonderful composition, colour, and ... texture, that's the word I'm looking for. You continue to remind us that film still has a place in our digital world.

DA 35mm Ltd.
While out on an assignment for my "Hidden Landscapes" course, I came across these two in a small urban park . The 35 Ltd Macro comes in handy, again!
