FA 31 @ f1.8 on a K3 -- close to what I had envisioned but my subject was a bit squirmy, and I think I could have used a shallower depth of field (a K-1 would have benefitted me here).
FA 31 @ f2 on K3 -- I wish this one would have had a bit more depth of field so that my daughters hand would be fully in focus. This was challenging, however, because I was shooting my hand, so it was a one handed shot and hand-held.
I'm learning how to control the bokeh in my shots, mostly using an FA 31 that is living on my lens for my daughter's first year, which I am using not so much for bokeh but because I can handhold my shots, indoors, without a flash and get in close. The bokeh is just an after effect that needs to be controlled, so that I can get away with thinner DOFs without the image looking horrible. I also occasionally try my FA 43 and DA 50/1.8, but they are a bit too telephoto for my house and the baby. ---------- Post added 12-23-2016 at 08:04 AM ----------
FA 77 @ f8 (not sure about this, but that's what the Exif says; it was two years ago :( ) I do know I took the shot at close to the minimum focus distance.
DA 18-135 @ 100mm and f5.6. Could have used a slightly thicker DOF, but I like the bokeh portion.
