The memory dump stuff seems as though it might be an area where non-devs can help; producing an index of special locations for particular functions and adding that to the wiki. Could that be useful?

Happy to run pre-alpha stuff and do testing on my K-30 if anyone can help me with compiling the code on Mac.

Shodan, this is incredible stuff. Keep going, and do let us know what any of us can do to help.

...and it wasn't meant as any criticism Patarok; just trying to express a bit of sympathy and support for our one-man Magic Lantern team. :)

Exactly! I think it's probably very easy for non-technical folks, such as myself, to underestimate exactly how much work is involved in hacking firmware.

Shodan's been really good at keeping people updated, but I think progress may be slow just because it's only really him (correct me if I'm wrong) that is actively working on developing the code. I'm not sure there's much for non-technical users to play around with at the moment. It really needs more devs working on it, but with Pentax having a much smaller user base than Canon, one thing's for certain: this won't be moving at Magic Lantern speeds.

A tenner also from me. You're making really quick progress Shodan and can only imagine that will become even easier once you have a dedicated K30 for testing. Hope a few more members can chip in and help you meet the funding goal.
