Not exactly the shot I was after. The fog wasn't as thick this morning so had to make due.
I will have to say all of the pictures of backpacking overnighters, monument valley, Mt. Lassen, McKenzie pass is giving me the itch to put on a backpack and get away from people for a while.

Shot this at f4. I recently upgraded my camera backpack so I will have this lens with me at all times. It hasn't been getting the use it deserves.

You have a great eye and pick interesting framing on your auto images. I'm really liking the rendering of that new DFA too! Well done.

Very nice images. Looks like the Ramage trail on EBMUD property. Love that trail.

Wow! lots of great images since the last time I posted. Went to Yosemite for a day of snow shoeing. It was magical as always. Here are a few from the day all taken with DFA 28-105 which is a fantastic all rounder. |

Same subject just different lenses and rendering. It was windy and the cala lilly and light were bouncing around. Should have used the same f stop but this is what they look like wide open.

Mock that is a very cool image.
I am finding no fear in letting auto iso find what it wants. It could probably be cleaned up but for most situations it is not needed. New to me FA 77. Who doesn't love cat photos? I do love the rendering. |

Wanted to test the pixel shift and see how it responded to moving vehicles. One in color and one in the monochrome filter. It was very windy and with a 4 second exposure I was concerned movement of the tripod was going to affect the image.
The amount of detail is crazy. |

Spent the day enjoying some quiet in the redwoods. Here are a few from the hike. I will say the 28-105 is a perfect walk-around lens. |

A few from my first outing with the k-1. Not much of a day for photography, overcast and grey but it was fun none the less. |
