Only $2m. You can afford a top line Leica or similar in lieu of a Pentax. What a cheapskate- but one with the good taste to use Pentax!

We have the same problem with electric scooters. These are a hazard that should never have been approved.

Lovely shots. I suspect that the last one, with the jacaranda tree, is mostly a modern extension built to blend in.

My shoulder is on the mend- out of sling into physio. Not to be recommended though.
I hope to be golfing after Xmas.

Thanks for the concern

I think I send too much time pondering lenses and too little improving images! I use jpegs and usually just straighten, crop and play with contrast in Picasa as I do not enjoy spending hours on the computer. Mind you I have been limited lately as I had a fall at golf and wrecked my shoulder which required surgery and a sling for 6 weeks until yesterday. I now have rehab until Xmas or so.

I have over 3000 images from a trip to Portugal, NW Spain and some of France earlier this year that I have to work through. Interestingly I used my Sigma 17-70 for almost all but some with the 10-20mm.(I use the older 18-200 as a back up as I feel it is not as crisp ). I was interested in the 55-300 to get more length in lieu of the older, heavier Sigma 70-300. My fall has put that on hold as it is yet to be seen if I will be able to manage the Pentax in the future. (Olympus from here?).

There seems to be something wrong with the first image showing the trees. The lower part is a series of horizontal bars. My system? Never seen this before.

Thanks
so far so good here although I had possible focus issue. Sent it back for a check but they said it was okay. No trouble since. I still like my Kx too.

PS needless to say the focus issue was in Spain- on holiday from Australia.
