It also auto cropped my wife's Sigma 17-70 2.8-4 HSM.
That and the other Sigma are the only two non-Pentax APSC lenses I have access to.

Got mine today. I've only tried it with the FA 31 and Sigma 10-20 3.5. It crop detected the Sigma.

I preordered just a week ago from Adorama. I just got an email notifying my that my K-1 has shipped. Should have it in three days.
I'm pretty sure all you guys that preordered in Feb and March and even April won't have to wait much longer to get yours.

Well the camera is very likely a cure for anxiousness, impatience, separation anxiety, loneliness, and depression. I can only imagine the amazing pictures it'll take.

The first part of your statement is completely logical. Though I'd like them to consider everybody, not may not be possible.
This on the other hand...
My statement has nothing to do with me wanting something before others. It has nothing to do with me. I think companies should try to consider everyone/make the most amount of customers happy. Not much to read into there.
Moving on...

Just because I want Ricoh to consider everyone when planning a release date doesn't mean I'm an arrogant and myopic American stereotype. I'm fully aware that this is a global release and there are multiple markets at play. I'm also aware that the US isn't their largest market.
I said I thought it was a poor decision on Ricoh's part. Would it be a better decision to release the camera when MORE customers can access it on the release date? I certainly think so.
Let's not forget that many of us have been waiting more than a decade for this camera. Waiting longer is by no means a big deal, but it can be pretty damn frustrating.

It seems like bad timing in Ricoh's part. I'd think they'd be aware of the popularity of B&H and Adorama and equally aware of their religious practices. Why would you make your release date during the week the two largest camera stores are down?

I just got a K-1 ad from Ricoh in my Facebook feed proclaiming "It's finally here!". I clicked their link a minute ago and their online store says, "Pre-order for April delivery". So they're saying I'll receive it within four days if I pre-order right now. Sounds a little fishy.
