Sorry for the delay, it has been a very busy week at work.
Thanks to all of you who entered this challenge, some comments from my side.

atupdate / Tim: Nice portrait, I like the contrast between her light complexion and the rest of the colors. Also, who can resist girls with glasses?

charliezap / Charlie: She's already a beauty! I like the colors in this one and also the choice for glowing edges in PP, not something I do very often but this time I think it works.

Haute Wada / Vei: Interesting take on the theme. "The deterioration of my loved ones is something that I can feel on my own body and I believe that kind of empathy to be a divine feminine characteristic." This I think its the key to interpret your image, but it took me a few good minutes. The way I chose to interpret it is that the deterioration of the statue is more the representation of somebody's soul after the loss of a loved one, all bleeding and broken on the inside. I am truly sorry to hear of the loss of your father.

SpecialK: I like this a lot. The silent exchange between the little girl and the young lady gives this picture a lot of emotional depth. One can only imagine what they are thinking. "I was a little girl once, now I'm getting married." - "Will I be as pretty when I'm older?"

nobody: Dress, purse, high heels, shopping bag, phone - it's all there :D And of course the smile. Lovely background.

sealonsf / Lynda: I like the color scheme in this one and also the framing.

RGlasel: Nail salons have always made me uncomfortable, much better to get your nails done at home, cozy atmosphere :)

aaacb: I was just wondering when flowers are going to pop up! Maybe a little bit more contrast would be better.

eva: Aaaaaah! How can one resist the ladies???

noelcmn / Noel: Channeling your inner LeRolls, aren't you? Very nice girl but the umbrella makes all the difference, separating the model from the background.

jchorst / Christoph: So much is hidden from view yet such elegant curves! love it.

DeepThrob / Frank: I like the expression on little girl's face.

ramseybuckeye / Tom: That's a nice collection of ladies you have there! maybe it will grow even more in the future? :D

Now for the winners. There are a lot of pictures which I like, perhaps if I will repeat this exercise in a few hours results will be different so I'll just go with the flow.

3rd Place: noelcmn
Umbrella by Noel Bowers, on Flickr

2nd Place: jchorst

1st Place and host of the next challenge: SpecialK

Congratulations and see you at the next challenge!
