That is a lovely Moss Rose and a beautiful photo - especially well lit. My copy from mrs monochrome’s mother is sleeping this year after last summer’s heat. I expect we’ll see a bloom or two next year. That’s the pattern, anyway.

Yep! We’re Kirkwood transplants - booth grew up in U.City. My daughter lives in Columbia and works in Jeff City (for the Treasurer, so Downtown). Next time I’m down there I’ll PM. Daughter is up here for the weekend.

The K200/4 is a real overlooked sleeper lens. Mine is one of the first K lenses I bought - 1999, spotless, for $25.
I have so many lenses I simply can’t get out with many of them to add a photo to these comments (plus I didn’t learn about tagging my image files for the first several thousand, so how will I know which was shot with which K Lens?)

I think the D FA*50/1.4 needs it’s own category, so DA35/2.8 still holds the #1 spot, K35/3.5 #2.

DA35/2.8 Macro is the only DA Limited prime I’ve kept for use with the KP and K-1 in crop mode. It is that good. Not even the SMC 15/4 or HD 21 are that good.
