Those are some lovely falls colors.
Crossposting some flowers here from a thread in "Post your Photos". This was the first field test of my freshly aquired DA35 F2.4. Its a very sharp lens with nice rendering. Would have preferred rounded aperture blades though.

Traces
Never did this before but it was very entertaining and we got some nice shots out of it. Luckily we had one guy with a bit of experience. "Traces" was made with 4 LEDs I soldered on a stripboard before the event.

Round here we make some bonfires at easter. This time i stayed longer and got the opportunity to shoot the fire fighters doing their job. Shot with a Ricoh 50mm mostly at f/2.8 Had a hard time to get the focus right. But I got some nice keepers:

Nice action shot. Apparently there was a stable enclosure or you are an excellent runner, so it was not the last ever :lol:
Those flowers from the fourth would also fit very well into the official Forum contest :)

The brighter one fits definitely better to the other two shots. Monitor calibrations can be annoying. Tried to calibrate mine, and I am still not sure if I did it correct...

Something different to do with a polarizing filter:

Recipt: Set your TFT monitor to show only white. CRTs wont work. Place some transparent plastic in front of it and then try different rotation angles of your CP.
Using different background colors will prevent the rainbow colours but will still visualize the stress in the material:
