Well up here, the jack pine savages shoot road signs with rifles.

Fun picture. The car is definitely stuck in the snow. Locals have recreated the shootout from the movie Bonnie and Clyde?

The b&w appears more ominous than the color version. But I like the color. Depends on your intent with the image. Both versions are keepers.

A classic composition and very pleasing image. I like studying the transition from foreground to background. ---------- Post added 06-20-15 at 07:39 AM ----------
Nice shot of the Plaza and La Fonda. Taos is amazing, especially in ski season!

Actually, melt water is 39 degrees F, the highest density before freezing. Flowing melt water at slow speeds actually looks precisely like Matt's image. The water will appear viscous, surface blurred by the overlaid slightly warmer water. The photo captures the reality of spring breakup without the unnecessary five second shutter speeds so commonly used on summer water. A longer shutter speed would have ruined the shot, in my opinion. I have watched ice melt and streams begin flowing for all of sixty seven years. I know melt water.

The front office is like "You guys will be Cleveland on time, right?" Time to hunker down and wait for the Coasties with an ice breaker. Good photos.

That first shot is exceptional for the capture of the fire in the sky with deep dark contrast of the streaming clouds. I like it very much.

An atmospheric inversion has trapped fog/clouds between 3000 feet above ground and where I walk. Light sucks, so I post a photo from a couple weeks ago taken with the HD DA15mm shortly after dawn.

Maybe the fault line slipped and your home is now at 7000 feet above sea level? Nice picture of the snow, by the way.

Don't apologize. It suggests you are guilty of something. I like the image and a few treetop halos will not change my enjoyment.
