Adam, if I may suggest another modification of the rules of PEG. Perhaps, along with a quota per single photographer, another quota could be introduced per single genre (per single photographer). You see, the way I see the situation now with those amazing macro shots not getting accepted in PEG is related to the number of such shots submitted and already accepted in the gallery. Perhaps, if one couldn't submit more than 2 or 3 shots of the same genre, that among other things would prevent people from being offended and also would generate certain degree of diversity in the gallery. As it is now, it seems rather lacking in diversity department.

Sorry, it is too late for me :(. Surely it is not that much of a loss for anyone, but presently I should not try to post any more images for acceptance in PEG.

I've a two questions that I'd like to clarify for myself which hopefully would be useful for others.
1. Adam, in your competition of sorts against PPG - am I right to understand that you're competing with what they call "premiere collection"?
2. Is it at all possible to know how many people are judging PEG and who are they?

In fact, this is exactly what happened in my case. I spent a bit of time prior to submitting any images to any of the photo sections of this forum. I read around and formed a (potentially wrong) understanding that critique is to be posted specifically in the corresponding section of the forum. Further, I thought, if a photo gets chosen to the exclusive gallery it is really bad rap to criticize it right there, in the exclusive gallery. I am imagining here someone from outside of this forum or the circle of active posters herein. If they would see a photo badly torn to pieces in EG what would they think? Many things, none particularly positive.
Perhaps, for sake of good sport and completeness a special section can be opened in order to actively discuss/critique/etc the photos that got chosen to the EG.
But then again, I readily admit that this opinion is by far formed by my cultural background, which is distinctively not English based.

Sir, you made a negative comment in the (exclusive) gallery beneath my photo. You make yet another comment here. It is then logical for me to start wondering whether or not you have something personal with me or that photograph. If so, perchance it might be more beneficial if you turned to me in person via private messaging system. With all due respect, these comments of yours are starting to be annoying.
