Yeh, it was a work with what ya' got shot and more showing that the lens works great on the Q in macro. If I was only half as creative as some of the masters on here. I bought an ND1000 filter, it's kinda fun but it would be so much better if the Q wasn't locked at 30 sec exposures. I think it was Barondla that posted a work around for the original Q but, it's only usable in some situations.

Taken with Q-S1, 06, AF 20mm extension tube, 540fgz and was hand held. I'm sure a tripod would be much better. That's about half of a kernel of corn. Bird Seed by CheepShot, on Flickr

I haven't tried it with the original Q yet but with the S1 it's great. The Q lenses are fully automatic, the aperture and AF work nicely. ---------- Post added 02-26-15 at 10:34 AM ----------
The picture is with an 06 at 30mm (the EXIF is available if you click the picture), I don't remember how many tubes I had on. The 01 works nicely with the smallest tube, the 10mm. Hopefully, I will have time to have some more fun with it today. The reverse ring I have is from q-mount to 52mm. A better setup is probably the Pentax QK adapter with a PK mount reverse ring to retain the leaf shutter.
For me, the best things about these AF rings is better than 1:1 magnification can be reached easily since the camera functions are intact and the rings are small. You don't have to carry anything but the tubes and the Q lenses.

I'm going to try them with a reverse ring (q mount). Hopefully, there will be a further increase in magnification. Thanks for the nice comments.

Thanks and good luck! It's probably obvious but, I've found the closer you are the better the shot. The Kestrel's were at the top of the tree, I'd guess 150ft away.

I'm not sure how to copy it over, best I can figure out is I have to delete the images here and start a new message in the Adapted Lens list. I've seen you do it before, how's it done?
Thanks

Here's a couple with the 02 Zoom. I'm enjoying the camera and the photos from this site almost as much. :)

Thanks, I appreciate it and will be using your advice. I sold my 50-500 OS to a guy that had the Siqma 500 F/4.5, we hooked it up to the Q. It was fun, he's looking for one to buy for himself.
