There is still an ongoing argument/discussion here as to who gets the red K-50 when it arrives (it's in transit at the moment) and my oldest daughter has now chirped in too saying she wants it! As the older daughter lives 200km away and has no access to lenses I doubt she will be getting it.
I bought her a Canon bridge camera a couple of years ago and she barely uses it as she prefers to use her phone for all her photos.
My youngest daughter already has two zooms for her K-10D (a Quantaray 28-90mm and a Tokina 70-210mm). I have an 18-55 WR and 55-300 WR for my K-30 plus several primes (including Limiteds) so I'm sure we can find something to put on the K-50 when the time comes. I'm still toying with upgrading the K-30 later in the year (around Black Friday time) and the K-70 with the 18-135 WR is calling to me (I'm also considering a possible K-3 body instead but I do like that flip out screen on the K-70 and the extra MP). The K-70 with the 18-135mm would give me a better body than the K-30 and add an extra WR zoom to the collection. Decisions, decisions!

I ran into this last week! I let my 22 year old daughter play with my Sigma 105mm macro prime on her K-10D when I heard her shout "Hey Dad, how do I zoom with this?", "With your feet" was my reply.
She was not amused!
