I finally got my first keeper after getting my K-70 a couple of weeks ago, I'm not counting all the 'test' shots to make sure I had no front/back focus issues with my primes.
I'm impressed with how well it performed under adverse conditions as I was shooting into a very strong back-light (bright early afternoon sun plus snow) and through two panes of glass in the window! I was using my DA 55-300 at 300mm, f5.8 @ 1/750 sec and ISO 200. I had to do some PP work to tone down the highlights (bright snow), crop out unwanted stuff and bring up the detail in the bird but overall it came out OK. |
