I don't think Pentax made a 28-105mm f/4 lens. Are you referring to the recently release D-FA 28-105mm f/3.5-5.6? That camera and lens combo isn't too heavy. Are you using a battery grip?
The flash isn't super huge either, I think.
I use a plain, simple Lowepro 160 with two compartments. A large one holds the camera and a small narrow holds the flash. There's enough pockets inside and outside for batteries, extra cards, etc.
I recommend you drink the bottle of whiskey ASAP to reduce the amount of weight you carry. Never mind the immediate effect. :)
I'd rather carry an ultra wide angle lens instead of a pistol. You can get more shots with it before needing to reload. :)
