That’s not all.
This is ridiculous. ---------- Post added 04-20-19 at 03:12 PM ----------
Also hilarious. ---------- Post added 04-20-19 at 03:15 PM ----------
And frankly, quite absurd.

Current tripod won’t be a problem. It’s a Berlebach Report 3036. Massive heavy wooden thing. Stable as anything. I will be getting a monopod and gimbal setup though for more practical field application ---------- Post added 03-26-19 at 03:28 PM ---------- Oh, and as far as CA goes, that’s nothing. It’s on a tree several kilometers away that I can hardly see with the naked eye, and it’s cropped from the edge of the image. I won’t ever be applying this lens in such an extreme manner for my proper photos. I was just trying to find its limits... and I’ve got to say I’m absolutely blown away.

---------- Post added 03-26-19 at 02:16 PM ---------- ---------- Post added 03-26-19 at 02:17 PM ---------- What’s that? A bird in the tree in the next yard? ---------- Post added 03-26-19 at 02:18 PM ---------- Uncropped, exported straight to jpeg from RAW file ---------- Post added 03-26-19 at 02:19 PM ---------- Cropped, hastily processed in LR. ---------- Post added 03-26-19 at 02:20 PM ---------- Cropped to pixelation, nil noise reduction applied. ---------- Post added 03-26-19 at 02:23 PM ---------- Mountain in distance, iphone photo for reference. ---------- Post added 03-26-19 at 02:25 PM ---------- f/9 1/640 800 iso. RAW to jpeg, nil processing in LR. ---------- Post added 03-26-19 at 02:26 PM ---------- Quickly fiddled with a few sliders in LR, including dehaze (it’s frikken hot and humid here). ---------- Post added 03-26-19 at 02:28 PM ---------- Cropped to the bare tree in the right of frame. Very slight CA, but I’m basically shooting into glare ffs. Really impressed. ---------- Post added 03-26-19 at 02:29 PM ---------- Cropped to the tree more in the centre. Less CA. Still no noise reduction applied. Handshake evident. I didn’t use remote shutter. |
