It may focus fine, but only at f1.4... ...it is not the focus motor that is the issue. Both 55-300 PLM and DFA50 have electronic aperture control that older bodies cannot control. It is the aperture control that makes a lens mount KAF4. And the DFA 50 has ring SDM, not DC motor.
