As a big Helios 44 fan I couldnīt resist bidding a few euros for an old beautiful Helios 44 zebra from a russian seller.

Super Multi Coated Takumar 35mm f/2 wide open.
Received this lens yesterday from Germany at a good price and took it for a walk with my dogs.
Pretty surprising soap bubble bokeh.

Very interesting, good info.
My copy is not very "treasurable" as its cosmetic condition is very poor.
But now, instead of searching for a f/1.8 I will search for a second copy of a f/2.2, this one in good condition.

Thanks for that.
This lens is rather surprising, it weighs almost nothing and the plastic cover of the focusing ring doesn't exists anymore (a common issue, the plastic has a terrible quality and cracks).
But wide open and with some out-of-focus highlights... Shines.
Makes me wonder if the f/1.8 version is even better.

Still some weeks for the flowers season to arrive to Ibiza.
Winter is being very mild (22 celsius degrees today) but no rain at all.
The only kind of wild flower around seems to be this one.
