I'm seeing a LOT of buzz around this camera on photography sites, more than any other camera I've seen recently. It's as if people are discovering now that IBIS can be a good thing...

I'm sure you can still find him in the Sony forums, and that will be fitting since all his news are always Sony related...

I liked the guy, I wish he behaved in a more polite and respectful way and he would still be here.

Why are you anti-IBIS? Also, I'm sure there's a way to turn it off, so no need to wait for another model unless this one doesn't suit you for other reasons, including price...

Me too. I've had good tests at ISO 6400 with my K-r but I'd rather not use anything over 800 if I can help it.

About the A7II, I wasn't expecting IBIS in the A7 line. Wow is all I can say. I think a Leica A7II with some Leica R lenses - now stabilized - will be a killer setup and I might be having lots of dreams about that.
