I would accept a $100 discount for a scratched lens cap or a minor scuff on the body somewhere. Anything optics on a $1200 lens It will take about $400 marked down for me to call it acceptable (great deal) given its new lens.
I am now thinking if this is a QA issue for a batch then We should see a flash sale of these copies somewhere around thanks giving.
