You can see the MTF curves of the DFA* here, Stu, it's a Zeiss killer … the numbers are extraordinary.

That'll *reduce* resolution, Merv.

You put the simulator on to cut down the moire at certain distances with various kinds of fabric patterns.

Yes, with a 70-200 on APS-C, at the long end you need to communicate with your model by text message, or perhaps semaphore flags.

Well, all images are made of pixels, and the thinner DoF was because you are now having to stand closer to the subject to get the same framing, but … :lol:




I agree with you there, Tranzistors. :)

And for an evenly lit landscape or whatever, too.
