I would prefer it a little darker and less saturated (more pale) to match the snowy mountain top colours. On my monitor it seems a bit "glowing" and quite yellow-orange.
That is my opinion of course, what matters is your viewpoint :cool:

Really beautiful image! I would prefer the moon a bit more pale and underexposured, but this might be due to my office pc screen that is mediocre and not good at looking at images! :D

Great series of shots! Are all with the same WB? Are the moon colors changing so much during this phenomenon?

Too bad! :D I had a similar near miss last month while I was walking with my 150-450 in hands looking for anything worth shooting. I suddently looked to the nearly full moon and I saw a big plane right in front of it! I didn't even make the move to lift my camera... :D just watched the rare sight. Another time we will be luckier :cool:

Just for the fun of it I was experimenting with my old long lenses on the K-1. I got mixed results. Here is a photo of the full moon eclipse taken with my MTO 1000A and the HD DA 1.4X TC. Click on the photo to see it larger size.

It was a night with light clouds all over the sky here. Shot with the K-1 in 1:1 mode and the DFA 150-450+HD 1.4X @630mm, no crop.
