New 200mm f4 Takumar appeared in the post today. Not sure how that happened, but I thought I'd accept the parcel. I decided to take it out for a quick spin before I take it apart to clean out the fungus. Not much to shoot wildlife-wise today, not sure why, so only managed some fairly local fauna!

Someone's domestic cat was particularly surprised to find me in the undergrowth and watched me in what I can only assume was bewilderment before slinking into the thickets.

Gorgeous shot. I recently picked up both the 55mm f1.8 and the 50mm f1.4 and have been out and about with the 1.4 a few times so far. I've always liked the solid feel of old Pentax glass and the Taks are no exception. These are both with the 50mm f1.4.
