No, I've got all my images that have been in Explore identified on Scout from BigHugeLabs: BigHugeLabs: Do fun stuff with your photos
Currently I still have 66 in Explore, but since I joined I've had 149 in Explore, according to Scout anyway. If you've not used it before Scout is towards the bottom of the page, all you need to do is enter your Flickr name and it will do the rest.
There's plenty of other tools to play with too, but these days I really only use Scout when I get an invite to the In Explore group.
