I don't know if things have changed via firmware since I got my K-1 but when I first attached my DA*300/4 the crop mode was in auto so it defaulted to the crop mode. If this is still the same press menu, go to camera settings page 2, 'Crop' and set it to FF. Oh, and the lens performs really well with the K-1 sensor.
