Ha, thanks--definitely juggling a lot of variables here, including figuring out how to use an incident light meter. I'm still a little overwhelmed just looking through the 67's finder--a lot of real estate!:) The 55/4 is a trip as well, especially coming from a crop sensor K5: 67glade1A by J Barnes, on Flickr
At any rate, a lot to learn--hope to see some from the Bronica soon as well.

Well, I've finally put a roll of 120 through the Beast of the Southern Wild--I must say, the negatives look great, but I'm afraid the scans aren't striking me as particularly well done. I think a bit of confusion with the counter help might have resulted in a pretty low-rez, "generic" file--I might have these rescanned at a different lab along with my next roll, just to see what's "really" there.
Otherwise, I'm still pretty optimistic about the new system: all of these were shot with the 55/4, which seems sharp indeed, and it looks as if my Manfrotto 410 and Uni-loc 1700 are up to locking things down. Likewise, I'm digging the colors of Ektar--these were almost all "SOC" with a bit of slider work in ACR. 67beaverpond1A by J Barnes, on Flickr 67beech1A by J Barnes, on Flickr 67dozer1A by J Barnes, on Flickr 67wildlifeplot1A by J Barnes, on Flickr

Thanks for elaborating...I'll be curious as to which film seems to match my environs here in the Southern Highlands (ubiquitous rhododendron cover skews everything toward blue-green) but the Portra 400 obviously fits your more arid landscape out West.):)

Great shot--strange that "Weed, California" isn't in Humbolt County. I've been noticing that you're shooting a lot of Portra 400 lately--is there a great deal of difference between it and Portra 160?

Thanks for the insights--I've been running from sunny days so long it will take a conscious effort to trust the medium. At any rate, I've finally got a working P 67 kit together (including a late version 200/4:)) so it's going to be a trip going back to film after an absence of three decades or so.

Colton-- I've been very impressed how you keep the skies in your latest shots (especially in the one of the reflected feed mill on Flickr). Are you using a grad filter, or is it more a matter of shot selection?:)
