Spotted a Japanese couple at a cafe in a nearby town this morning, the woman has a K70, I said hello and mentioned Pentax, we were all full of smiles :)
I had my K-3 with me.

Skoda ia VW, probably just a VW with a different skin. Not sure if either of those are recommended for Australian conditions.

No sorry, don't like what I see, I also don't like what the lenses look like, wouldn't touch sigma with a forty foot barge pole :)

yes for sure, if it helps to make images go for it, I just have a thing about sigma.

yes me too.
Tamron yes, but no sigma for me, however, always preference to the Pentax lenses.

A chap came into the local museum sporting a K-S2, with a sigma zoom, I think it unfortunate that the camera shops push the sigma lenses in place of the Pentax lenses. Rarely see a Pentax anything around here.

The shop is called The New Camera House, very impressive shop for these days of online purchasing. It did not surprise me to see the Sigma lenses there, but I would have preferred to have seen Pentax instead, and Sigma as an other option. We did discuss the K-1's and upcoming lenses. Yes I did know C.R.K. for Pentax and Sigma, but did not realise they did Leica as well :)

Most surprised recently, a camera shop in a larger nearby town does carry some Pentax gear, two KS-2's and two KP's even a limited 21 and XS 40, unfortunately the other lenses they had were sigma, but I'm sure they would get in Pentax lenses. Even more surprising they had quite a range of Leica as well.

Just out of the blue, ran into someone today with a Kx and 18-250, quite a rare meeting, really do not see many Pentax cameras around.

came across a lovely Japanese lady at the market today and she has a white K30, we had a good chat, showed her my K-3, translated by an English speaking Japanese friend, great to see her today.
