Just by chance, my latest is also silver and almost as small as magkelly's.
Here we go - Industar 50-2.
That wonderful old Russian 3.5/50 made by the gazillions and as cheap as chips.

Halloo Jean.
The lens has arrived and is rather lovely.
I think it is another Tomioka design and maybe made by them - who knows.
Here is a sample:

Auto Rikenon M42 1.4/55
One of the sharpest 1.4/55mm lenses made by anyone.
Can't wait

It is easy to use with an M42 to PK adapter, so no real need to change the mount.
Congrats

Sorry to labour this but I can't see what other reasons there would be to fix the auto focus.
Have you found other reasons to acquire this USB dock?
Thanks again

Many thanks.
I guess it will be a useful tool for those times when the lens misbehaves.
Does it fix lenses that have been dropped or accidentally mishandled resulting in inaccuracies, or is it a fix for variations in quality control.

Gratias.
Why does a lens need to have its AF re-calibrated?
Puzzled

Good for you.
Take some photos and see what you think. Work with the lens and find out its strengths and weaknesses.
Don't point it at situations that reveal its weaknesses, and find opportunities to give its strengths a chance to shine.
Do this and you may not want another lens.

Here are a couple of images taken on the Mamiya-Sekor 645 2.8/80mm.
Arguably this is the cheapest of the Mamiya 645 lenses.
Taken wide open - and not too shabby.

The 645 lenses used to be comparatively cheap - not any more, as they are being re-discovered as fine optics.
Best value is the 80mm f2.8 - but the 80mm f1.9 is much sought after.
Any of the 150mm lenses are very good, with the most sought - the 150mm A 2.8 - which is reputed to be the best of them
The 200mm APO 2.8 is exceptional but expensive.
If you can find one, a 110/2.8 is also a very nice lens.
Longer than these, or shorter, are a waste of time I think, as there are better solutions in M42 and PK mount that are smaller, lighter and every bit as good.
Cheers

It is an older M42 lens from Tomioka for Mamiya.
As shown it is in its 1:1 configuration, but will shrink considerably when focused back to infinity.
There are plenty of excellent Mamiya 645 lenses out there that can be adapted to Pentax with a Mamiya 645 to Pentax K adapter.
This is an old 35mm lens however.
Adapters for Mamiya 645 to Pentax are like these:
Mamiya 645 Lens TO Pentax K PK K 5 K X K R K 7 Adapter NEW Digital Camera Lens | eBay
I do have some other M42 Mamiyas as well as 645 Mamiya lenses.
They are truly excellent.

This is one of the great lenses!
It has an enormous field of view and at such an affordable price.
I was lucky enough to get one with my Nikon and it is, without a doubt, my most used lens.

Not a latest acquisition, but a lens that was smothered in fungus that has just come back to me after being cleaned.
Only a triplet, but a beautiful lens to use with very nice results.
