Nice collection indeed. I used to take pictures with Prakticas in 1980/90s. Recently saw a guy with the MTL-3 really taking pictures. Do you use the cameras Paddan?

Yes, Jean, I like it very much. The lens is very sharp on K-5, the autofocus works perfectly and the lens gives great colour rendition. I use it as my standard lens on K-5 and hope it will also be good for my film K2 (have not tried it yet for image quality test. The lens behaves correctly on the K2 in terms I can set the aperture with the ring and the light-meter gives perfect readout so it shall be OK when I start taking pictures). This lens takes the advantage of being the FF lens, so the image quality on an APS-C camera is just fantastic.
You can take pictures with the aperture full open if you like. My lens shows some softness in one of the corners at f/2.8. Stop the lens down to f/4 and it is pin-sharp. This lens is my fave under all low-light situations.
Be aware, of three things, though.
First is the 28mm wide-end which is not really wide on APS-C. You'll need a separate lens to cover the wide end (this is why I use the DA14 for that range).
Second, the lens is denoted as "Macro" but it only means you can focus down to 33 cm, nothing else.
Third, if your goal is bokeh, the Tam is not the lens you are looking for. See the pic of the K2 above - that was taken with the Tam. The bokeh is not bad but decidedly not that fantastic.
Though, I never regretted my choice of that lens. Will probably contribute with a review soon.
P.S. Alll pictures above were taken with the Tamron.
P.S.2. While taking pictures at different music clubs, I noticed that lens on many cameras, notably Canons. ;) Actually it was a Canon user who recommended the lens.

The K2 I've just bought with the K-135 of 1975.
Actually, three mirrors involved ;)
Mikroma II by Meopta, a 1957 Czechoslovak police camera.
This tiny camera sports interchangeable lens. 16mm film format.
This is the camera I started with in 1981. Polish made START 66S.
