I have been trying my 'Old Friend' which I wrote about in the SLR Film camera section -- my original Asahi Pentax S3 bought 1961 and given back to me after 40 years with the bloke to whom I sold it -- and after a good 'Clean up' the 55mm f1.8 'Auto-Takumar has given some good results here -----all on 2007 Fuji Acros film Candid, cropped a bit at full aperture f1.8 Textures on Fence at f2.8 Shop Window at f2.8 |

I was taking 'Candids'of the couple on the seat when the 'Busker' moved right behind them and I got one frame with my 150mm f4 SMC Takumar on my Asahi Pentax Spotmatic F loaded with 03/2005 dated Ilford FP4+ which I processed in home-made 'Microphen' Formula 1+1 for 10 mins @ 20oC. I did a darkroom print on Ilfospeed Glossy grade 2 developed in home-made D72 Formula 1+2.

These 'ladies' are on motorised Shopping Trolleys that have speakers inside playing music -- they were in our High Street, closed to traffic for the day, entertaining people at the annual Brentwood Christmas Lights Switch-on event.
